About our Wrinklers

This huge impact on our lives occurred in the Fall of 1983.   The postman delivered the annual Neiman Marcus Christmas Catalogue one day......and we discovered CHINESE SHAR-PEI dogs.  It has been a very expensive and challenging part of who we are, and we haven't regretted it for a minute.   The catalogue had them listed for $2,000.....an exorbitant amount for a dog in 1983.   We began looking for other sources and our adventure finally began the spring of 1985 with the purchase of GIZMO.  GIZMO was remarkable, he even acted as though he had some human genes in him somewhere.  Since then we have owned 14 Shar Peis, our most recent, MANGO, being acquired in 2023.  Our lives have revolved around these mutts for about 40 years and we're not done yet.   Anybody that knows us professionally or personally knows the dogs come with the Bells.....take it or leave it.
